I have to say thank you very much for everything that you did for us, we are very happy with how the day panned out and we wouldn’t have imagined it going any other way than what it did. And thank goodness it stopped raining just in time!! I also have to mention that many of the guests commented on how much they enjoyed your service….it’s always great to hear positive feedback.

Andy told me that one of the candle jars broke and you fixed the problem by getting another vase from somewhere else and cleaned up the glass etc. You made such an effort to ensure that our day went off without any glitches and reassured us that it was our day and to concentrate on one another and that’s exactly what we did.

I cannot recommend Jane enough.  I first met her when she was a wedding DJ and she DJ’ed our wedding, then a few years later, my wife organised for Jane to be the DJ at my 30th.  Two years ago I called Jane again and asked her to DJ my wife’s 30th birthday party (unfortunately she was already booked that night, but put me in touch with a very good DJ).

Why is Jane so good, why would I recommend her?

That’s very easy to answer  – the little things.

She gets to know “her couples” (that’s how you will be remembered; Jane remembers every wedding she does.)  Jane finds out about the first time you met, your first date, how you proposed, everything! She uses this information to personalise the ceremony so it is something you remember for the rest of your lives.  The information you provide her is worked into the ceremony so not only does she go through the legal side of things she words the ceremony so it relates directly to you as the happy couple.

Jane is very thoughtful and nothing is too much trouble for her.  On the day of our wedding vow renewal, I was running around like a chicken with its head cutoff.  I pointed Jane in the direction of the backyard and said, “That’s where we are standing”.  Jane then went about setting herself up, set up the table that was required to sign the marriage certificate (which was professionally calligraphied – not just typed up).  Jane brought with her metal lettering (D for my wife Donna and C for me) which was placed on the signing table, small blackboard in the shape of a love heart with our names and date on it hanging in the background so it appeared in photos, she laid out a12 metre red carpet for us, Bride and Groom chairs.  As I said, it’s just the little things, they might not seem like much, but it was something I didn’t have to worry about (she took care of it) and as I look back at the photos and the video, these little things made a world of difference on the day – things I didn’t think of!!

I have heard a lot of celebrants might speak to you on the phone before the day and use e-mail, but Jane organised for me to meet her before the big day to go through what I had planned, what vows I wanted read, she printed out the reading my son was going to read on the day in large lettering so it was easier for a 7 year old to read, but more importantly was she is always there to offer ideas and give support.

The day before our vow renewal, I had a problem with the weather (it was an outdoor ceremony and the temperature was forecast to be 37/38 degrees Celsius), I was stressing out and just a couple of quick emails from Jane helped settle me down.  She gave me ideas on how to provide better shade, who to contact to help me out and the biggest and best advice was to supply water.  I know it’s a little thing and most people thinking straight would have thought of it,but as I said I was stressed as I had organised all the alcohol and soft drink but something simple as water, I just didn’t even think about water – her experience really came through for me.

I’m sure there are good celebrants out there, but I honestly don’t think anyone would go to as much trouble as Jane does.  Someone that will follow your instructions and will put the effort in to make sure YOUR day is exactly the way you want it. This is Jane!!

If you are still deciding on whom you want to be your celebrant – If Jane is free on the day you want to get married, I could not understand any logic that would make a couple go to a different celebrant.

If you have booked Jane and are a little nervous about having someone officiate your wedding that you might not have met yet, DON’T worry.  You have JANE!!!!

My kids are 7 and 5, if in 20+ years they chose to go with a celebrant (instead of getting married in a church) then the first thing I will be doing the day they announce their engagement, is logging on to Google and looking up if Jane is still a wedding celebrant, and if she is I will be booking her for my sons’ weddings.  I am that serious that I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

If Jane is your wedding celebrant, I can guarantee you the ceremony will be PERFECT.

How are you? Matt and I have been meaning to call you since the wedding but it seems time has just flown by so fast, with going back to work and having guests in town!

We wanted to say a huge thank you for your amazing efforts in preparation for our wedding. The day went so smoothly and many of our family and friends commented on how professional, warm, friendly and wonderful you were. You certainly helped calm any nerves – we felt we were in great hands and we just had so much fun – the day could not have gone any better!

Our day was wonderful and our guests (and even our photographer) commented on how great the ceremony was as it was so personal and interesting to listen to. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better ceremony. I am so glad we had you there and I am already missing the regular check up calls to see how all the planning is going (and what I’m stressing over today).
